SOLAR PROJECTS
Obsidian Renewables is the largest developer of utility scale solar energy, based in the Pacific Northwest. With a focus on the sunny regions of Oregon, Obsidian has successfully partnered with our rural communities to develop several locally focused generation projects for farms, towns, and facilities.
OBSIDIAN SOLAR CENTER
Obsidian is developing The Obsidian Solar Center at Fort Rock: a large-scale solar project, up to 400 MW in south Central Oregon with the potential for the addition of battery storage.
OTHER PROJECTS
In addition to the development of solar energy, Obsidian Renewables is working toward viable solutions to meet the need for low or no emissions generating capacity in the Pacific Northwest. This includes concepts around hydrogen and long term storage technologies.
