Obsidian is a pioneer of utility scale solar in the Pacific Northwest.
Obsidian Renewables is the largest locally based developer of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) facilities in the Pacific Northwest. Obsidian was a pioneer of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) facilities in south central high desert of Oregon. Obsidian’s first solar projects came online in 2012. Since then, Obsidian has built many solar installations ranging from smaller projects serving farms up to 50 MW. We are grateful for the local communities where our projects are located and proud of the support we have received.
