Obsidian Renewables developed BC Solar just outside of Lakeview, Oregon. The 8 MW project, occupying approximately 70 acres, was completed in 2016. It is expected to produce about 20.8 million kWh of electricity each year. The project was built by Swinerton Renewable Energy, who also built the first Black Cap Solar project on an adjacent site. BC Solar is under current ownership of PSEG Solar Oregon. The power serves customers of PacifiCorp.
